Foam Insert Storage Boxes

Boxes with foam inserts for long term storage, the cut Plastazote foam inserts are completely acid free and inert and ideal for storage of of smaller objects and fragments. The unbonded layered foam inserts can be removed to make it easy for placement and removal of objects. Suitable for long term storage or transportation purposes.

Archival grade Plastazote LD45 foam is layered with a 12mm base layer, deeper boxes have two stacked layers 56mm deep, shallow box compartments are 28mm deep.

Four foam insert configurations are available:

735-3630F8X2 - 8no. 79x135mm compartments 56mm deep – Total internal box size 365 x 300 x 68mm
735-3630F32 - 32no. 33x64mm compartments 28mm deep – Total internal box size 365 x 300 x 40mm
735-3630F8 - 8no. 79x135mm compartments 28mm deep – Total internal box size 365 x 300 x 40mm

Although held securely in-place inside the box, the layers can be gently removed to help access smaller fragments or make handling easier. Foam can easily be cut to accommodate various sized objects.

The robust clamshell outer-box is made from our high quality acid free and lignin free buffered board that is PAT passed.
