Tyvek Book Repair Tape - Easy Bind

Easy bind Tyvek book repair tape is an acid free method to simply repair books. The centre perforation makes positioning easier over the joint between the cover, or page and text block and allows you to work on each side individually for an accurate and secure repair. Continuous roll allows repairs to even the largest books, folders or any paper spine or hinge prone to tearing.

Tear resistant and acid free 175micron Tyvek
Opaque and will mask previous repairs
Acid free Polyacrylate adhesive

Steps for use:

Cut the appropriate length of tape to reinforce or repair your hinge
Remove centre strip to expose the adhesive and open the hinge to allow the centre of the tape to be firmly applied. A ruler or straight edge can help with pushing the centre strip tightly into the joint
Open the hinge and remove the liner from one side of the tape. Firmly adhere the tape using a teflon folder to burnish.
Repeat step for other side of the tape with the hinge open
