Portfolio box, handmade in the UK for long term archival storage of prints, artwork, documents and other paper based material, ideal for museums.
Ideal for books, photographs, art and print collections and available in most sizes to match, including A4, A3 and A2. The portfolio box has a hinged design which allows the open box to lie flat for ease in presentation and accessing contents.
The boxes are covered in black library Buckram cloth with white acid-free paper lining.
Book cradles are available separately to fit our portfolio boxes (see 'accessories to fit' below). The acid-free and lignin free archival quality cradles offer support to valuable books, and can be safely stored with the book inside the portfolio box. Please note that this will add 6mm to the total height of the contents (except 508-2420INS which is constructed of thicker board and will add 12mm).
